 Swap the Playroom is a toy-rental service in St. Charles County offering families an easy way to borrow, swap, or rent gently used toys and equipment. It’s a smart, sustainable option to keep playtime fresh without clutter!

 They also accept gently used donations (which can earn you a free rental) and support play-based events or parties. 

 Word Play Speech Therapy offers child-led, play-based speech and language services (in person and virtually) across St. Charles County and beyond. They specialize in supporting speech sound disorders (e.g. apraxia, phonological delay), expressive/receptive language challenges, AAC, and stuttering—always collaborating closely with families to bring therapy into everyday life. 

 The Roaming Resource Room offers a personalized, flexible learning environment tailored to each child’s pace, style, and passions. Located in Florissant, MO, they create inclusive, nurturing spaces where students can explore, build confidence, and find joy in learning 

 At Acorn Children’s Therapy, families can access child-centered OT, PT, and speech services delivered by a multidisciplinary team committed to helping children grow in all areas of life. 

They specialize in sensory processing, executive functioning, feeding, gross & fine motor skills, language support, and emotional regulation—always weaving therapy into play and everyday routines. 

Enchanted Playroom is an indoor soft-play and party center in O’Fallon, MO, designed for imaginative, active play. It provides a safe, fun space where kids ages 1–6 can develop social skills, coordination, and confidence—while parents relax nearby. 

 The Synapsory is a nonprofit dedicated to offering rest, regulation, and renewal for families of children with special needs. They design and install sensory/motor rooms in schools, churches—and now are extending this support into private homes—so that children can access calming, therapeutic environments where they live. 

They also provide calming kits, training, and education to equip families and communities to thrive.  

We Rock the Spectrum in Fenton is an inclusive sensory gym and indoor playground designed to support kids of all ability levels. Through open play, classes, and special events, the space provides safe, calming, and fun sensory experiences using swings, zip lines, crash mats, and more. 

It’s a wonderful place for children to explore motor skills, sensory regulation, social interactions—and simply enjoy play in a judgment-free environment. 

  The Freddie Ford Family Foundation supports underserved families impacted by autism by providing connection, resources, and community-focused programs. 

 They host events, social groups, educational workshops, and summer programs—creating inclusive environments and fostering acceptance for children with autism and their caregivers.  

Shiloh Counseling provides thorough psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children (ages 3–17) and adults (18+) to help uncover learning, developmental, emotional, and cognitive needs. 

They evaluate a wide range of areas and potential diagnoses, including learning disorders (e.g. dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia); ADHD and executive functioning challenges; autism spectrum concerns; mood and anxiety disorders; intellectual and cognitive differences; and giftedness or twice-exceptionality. 

Each evaluation includes a feedback session and detailed written report. For youth, the team also assists families in understanding and advocating for school accommodations, IEPs, and supports aligned to the child’s unique profile.
